HELLO! I'M Niki Grady
I come from a family of six brothers and sisters, and I am one of two siblings who enrolled and graduated from college. As a young child, it was always a dream of mine to attain a bachelor's degree. The dream turned into determination when my parents didn't take my aspirations serious considering their prior experience with their other children. Today, I can now proudly say that I will have my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in a short few months, and share that feeling with both my supportive mother and father. Despite their initial lack of faith, they are more than exuberant that I exceeded their expectations.
Determination, commitment, and my drive were the source of my success. Such characteristics are, and have been, the force pushing me forward to the finish line as an undergraduate; and will also be the force cultivating my growth throughout my career, helping me to attain my Certified Public Accounting License, and motivating me when I return to school for my Masters of Science in Accountancy.
Integrity is another trait that is not only important in day-to-day life, but especially when entering into the workforce. It is a characteristic that has allowed me to build and maintain good-standing relationships with friends and family, as well as alliances with co-workers and/or teammates. Without this attribute, anything but failure would be a complete fabrication of my capabilities.
Ambition characterizes my reasoning for choosing accounting as my major. I desire a challenge in my work because the intrinsic value
gives me a high, encouraging me to push myself beyond my arbitrary potential. Furthermore, this field demands a diligent and
well-organized individual, as well as a critical eye for analyzing information; each of which fairly reflect my wherewithal.
My distinguishing characteristics, in addition to my educational background, are substantial assets that can be found beneficial to any
accounting firm. It is my goal to find an employer who shares my desires for a mutual beneficial relationship that will encourage my
personal growth and the longevity of the firm's business.
